The Dragino LWL02 is a LoRaWAN water leak sensor. It detects the water leak status and sends it to the LoRaWAN network. The LWL02 is a small sensor, the dimension is as small as 69.2 x 29.2 x 15mm. BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED
The Dragino LWL02 is a LoRaWAN water sensor. When there is water between the two metal probes, LWL02 indicates a water leak event and uplink to the IoT server through the LoRaWAN network.
LWL02 is powered by 2 AAA batteries and designed for long time use, these two batteries can provide about 16,000~70,000 uplink packets, resulting in 2-10 years battery life. After the battery runs out, the user can easily open the case and replace it with 2 common AAA batteries.
The LWL02 will send data periodically every day as well as for each water leak event. It also counts the water leak times and calculates the duration of the last water leak. User can also disable uplink for each water leak event; instead, the device can count each event and uplink periodically.
Each LWL02 is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, please register these keys to the LoRaWAN server and it will connect automatically after power on.

Note :
1. The included battery is not rechargeable. In case you need to connect the Micro USB port to configure the node, you need to remove the battery. There are no protection circuits and leaving the battery inside the device when connected via the Micro USB interface will damage the device and could cause the device to overheat and catch fire. Be sure to remove the battery immediately after opening the case, before doing any other setup or maintenance.
2. The distance between the battery connector pins is 2.0mm. When choosing a battery, attention should be paid to the consistency of the positive and negative poles with the figure above. Reverse connection or short circuit may damage the device and may cause battery overheating and burning. Therefore, when replacing the battery, it is necessary to strictly confirm whether the positive and negative poles of the connector are correct.
